Wow! amazing sunny day with a lovely wind blowing through the trees. I started another sketch this morning at a regular spot, no prizes for guessing, yes, ‘Winnies Hill’. It is interesting to draw the same trees several times at intervals as you really notice the changes as the spring softly turns to summer. I had to leave it to go and do some other stuff, so I went back late this afternoon to finish it. I always feel better as I get the paints out, it is calming and helps to ease away the stress of the day.

I am looking forward to a trip to Brighton tomorrow and hoping to sketch a sea view to make a change, might even get a swim if it is still warm!
