Mini Three Peaks!

Just come back from spending a wonderful few days walking in the Lake District with my friend Rosie and her brother Eddie.

I hadn’t been there for years and as we walked it brought back happy childhood memories of family holidays. It was dad who gave me a love of being outdoors. The close cropped sheep nibbled grass, the tumbling streams and craggy rocks. Dad would encourage us to climb and we would scramble up the rocks while poor mum was at the bottom having kittens as all her five children headed off in different directions!

My magic boots were brilliant and took me further than ever I thought I would go. My best day being when we walked from Wasdale Head over Great Gable and Green Gable, then across to Haystacks and down the other side to Buttermere Lake. My mini three peaks challenge!
